Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply when purchasing from County Mowers Wetherby Limited.


Payment

We provide a secure online ordering and payment system. All online card payments are processed via SSL encryption to protect your data. Our systems are tested to meet PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements.

Orders may also be placed and paid for by telephone on 01937 581111.

Full payment must be received before an order can be accepted. A legally binding contract is formed once payment has been authorised and confirmed. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery

Most products are held in stock, and we aim to deliver within 5–7 working days from receipt of cleared payment. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will inform you of any significant delay.

County Mowers Wetherby Limited cannot be held liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances beyond our control.

We shall not be liable for:

  • Delays affecting customer work commitments

  • Hire charges for alternative machinery

  • Labour costs

  • Compensation for late delivery

  • Loss, damage or inconvenience arising from delayed or failed delivery

Products may be dispatched directly from our distributors. Receipts and payment confirmations are issued separately.

Product Warranties

All garden machinery products carry the appropriate manufacturer’s warranty.

Warranty periods displayed online apply to domestic use. Commercial use warranties may differ. Please contact us for clarification before purchase.

Cancellation Rights

For information regarding your cancellation rights, please refer to our Returns Policy page.

Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If goods are faulty, damaged or not as ordered, you must notify us as soon as possible.

Goods must be returned within 30 days of delivery in the condition received. We will refund or repair items in accordance with current consumer legislation.

If goods have been used, we reserve the right to repair rather than replace or refund, where appropriate under applicable law.

Data Protection (GDPR)

We collect personal information necessary to process and dispatch your order. This may include:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

Information is used solely for order fulfilment, customer service, fraud prevention and website security.

We do not send marketing emails or newsletters.
